How or what do i look for to get into computer hardware jobs? I'm interested into getting into a job where you work with computer hardware whether it be building pieces or buying complete systems. I am 17 years old and ever since i have had a computer in front of me i have been interested in the technology of it and now that i have finished school I'm interested if there's a course or something i should pursue first before looking into straight jobs. A Computer Job With Hardware and Programming? I'm 15 and looking for what jobs I can have in the future and I'm torn between and job with computer programming ex. software maker where one uses programming languages to code and computer hardware ex. fixing computers,building computers ect. I love building computers so much I managed to build my own last year and since then I've gotton old Towers from friends and just reassembled them for the hell of it. I also love programming. I'm still a novice at it but I can code a tiny bit of Java, enough to make a few things. So is there any job that has both of these in them. I prefer jobs that if i become good at I have the potential to make over a 90k a year.
