Can anyone tell me 4 types of computer hardware? Just curious. :-)
I am looking for a computer hardware dropship supplier for a web site must be able to provide lost of hardware I am looking to start an online store. I already have a web site host, most of the pages built and it will be easy to get things like merchat accounts setup. I just need to find a supplier to provided ALL types of computer hardware. Ram, motherboards, CPUs, drives and just about anything you can think of. I also need them to send me a list of items that I can sell and display pictures of items and provide me with a update of items in there where house.

What's a good name for an online store? I'm opening an online store that the products will vary from antiques, books, paintings, clothing of all types, computer hardwares, tools, amonst other things. Computer sound hardware help.? My computer was struck by lightning, came in through the modem (which exploded like a firecracker), through the ethernet cable, into the back of it. It stopped working for a couple of days, then miraculously started working again, of its own accord. Afterwards, I had to replace the internet port, but the sound only comes out of one side now. I don't know if I have to replace the sound card, or something else, having limited knowledge in this aspect. In short terms: What do I need to replace to get my sound coming out of all speakers again? Hardware Malfunction. Computer type: 2006 Alienware Aurora Desktop. I would really appreciate a straight answer, not being told to take it to someone else, which will inevitably cost more than it would to swap out a single part. I need some help building a Gaming Computer please.? So Im constantly told that if i want a good gaming computer for a price that is not stupid then i should consider building it my self. However.... Do computer (hardware) fan controllers work with all types of fans? I'm thinking of purchasing a fan controller for my PC, but I wasn't sure if it would work with my computer. how to reset your computer hardware to original setting? My grand-daughter has messed up with my computer settings. What career path should I choose, violinist or all around computer engineer(software/hardware)? These are my two favorite hobbies and I really for the most part want to choose what I should go for. I am a sophmore in high school and I am currently playing on violin La Folia from Suzuki violin book 6, I realize I am quite far behind in expectations but I really love to play my instrument. Than again is it even worth it to persue a career in violin because there are so many people that are so much better than me, for instance my friend has just finished mastering the mendalsonviolin concerto in eminor 1st movement. Let me tell you he played this amazingly and I believe he could pull off a career in violin but pitting me against him and all the other uber young violinists in the world do I even have a chance. Now on the computer side of things, I can honestly say I am one of the most nerdiest(computer knowledge wise) kids in my school. I am currently building a computer, making viruses, generating special effects and making movies, and experimenting with many different types of computers in my free time besides violin. I believe that if I go to school for this in the future I might have a high chance of succeeding in what ever computer field I enter into. But in the end I would still love to be playing my violin with an or orchestra or even a small band for that matter, than being cooked up behind a desk and instructed to make excell spreadsheets all day. All in all I believe that the computer path is a much more stable one but yet the music path is so much more enjoyable. Also I wish to make around 100 grand a year, which of these career choices do you think is more possible?

The Control unit directs electronic signals between the main memory and the input and output devices. Input devices allow one to put information into the computer. Some of the many input devices needed for a good computer are a keyboard, Mouse (either laser or ball), a trackball, a touchpad, a touch screen, a light pen, a scanner, a joystick, a microphone, disk drives (including CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, floppy disk), a Digital camera and a Video camera. Output devices allow you to view information on your PC or extract information from your PC. Some of the most important products needed in order to be able to see things on your computer screen to the best of your ability are VDU (video display units, or monitors). These monitors allow the work being done on the computer to be displayed, as well as the results of processing, displaying texts, graphics and image forms. The best type of monitor for your personal computer is a flat screen, or flat panel display. This type of monitor is most popular these days. The characteristics of these monitors are color, size and resolution. The more colors it has the better the clarity of the images on your PC will be. The bigger your screen is, the better you will be able to do your work (most screens currently are about 17’’ to 21’’). The higher the resolution, the better quality and clarity of the display or screen will be. The LED Displays (light emitting diodes) is the light that turns on when you press the button to start the computer, this feature is also important in figuring out when there is a problem; the light will trigger a specific flicker showing the presence of an error. Another output device important for a good home computer is a printer. The kinds of printers vary, but the best kind of printer for a personal computer is the colored laser printer. This printer, though expensive, can produce a variety of images and texts. Speakers (or headphones) are another feature that is available for a PC in order for the user to be able to hear sounds. Yet another feature is the removable media devices used to transfer data or documents onto other devices. Examples of these devices are CD-writers, DVD-writers or USB- flash memory cards. Of the devices that are considered both input and output devices are modems and speech synthesizers. Modems are important for access to the internet, the World Wide Web, which connects users to people from all over the world. Each of these devices (both input and output) will allow you to use your personal computer to the best of its ability. It is also important that one buy a good brand name of each of these devices as well as the computer itself, in order to assure warranty and to have the best products available.

Computer hardware causing interference with sound adapter? This is realy odd, when ever i move a window, a buzz comes from the speakers, whenever i type, a quick buzz for each letter, when i move the mouse, a long buzz. if i make a window smaller, the buzz gets higher as it gets smaller, vise versa, when i maximize/minimize a window, it makes a high pitched buzz. when a ran a nortan scan, it was constant static. its almost like i can hear the computer doing things,, Do you think its possible that the waves from the various hardware is causeing interference with my sound adapter?

How can I increase the memory (RAM) on my computer without opening up the hardware? Is there a way using my operating system (Windows XP) or some type of free shareware program to optimize my memory. Best Hardware for Building a computer? I want to build myself a computer. Firstly I know about compatibility of types of hardware so you don't need to explain that and I also know how to build a computer. Basically what I want to know is whats the best hardware out there for is price. How do I know what type of wireless card is in my computer? I have a linksys WRT150N- Wireless N router and was looking to upgrade my wireless card for faster speeds. New Computer hardware doesn't seem to be working...? I just put together a new computer. I'm having two problems with it though. First: I'm only scoring a 4.5 for RAM on the vista rating. I have 2x2GB DDR2800 sticks. I had 2x2GB DDR2666 with my last computer and easily scored a 5.7. Second: My processor is only scoring a 4.0. This has to be wrong since my old processor was 2.5 years old and came from walmart and got a 5.1. I can't figure out how to update the drivers for it though (if you even can).
