Abit motherboards? I have an error 25 on my old mother board so I bought a new motherboard, cpu, power supply, ram, all that can or could be wrong with the assoicated error. I installed all componets and I'm getting the same error on a new motherboard? Anyone?

What is the most advanced video card my Abit BE6 motherboard can take? I know, I know. It's an old motherboard. I haven't had any problem with it until lately when trying to play Dreamfall, which requires a video card with pixel shading. How do I set a memory divider on an abit at8 32x motherboard? This should be a simple solution correct? Well unfortunatly thats not the case. I set my memory speeds to manual, and put it at 400, but any time I change the FSB clock it automatically clocks up my memory(note: it doesn't change in the bios, but when I look at it in cpuz it is at a 1:1 ratio). I don't see any setting in the bios about a memory divider, how do I get my motherboard to cooperate and let me run a divider on my memmory?

Okay, im abit good at computers but dumb with motherboards and CPU? Right okay, last night, my computer was slow, so, i scanned with avast! anti-virus, it found a virus, i removed it completely, then, i restarted computer, i loaded it again, and when i logged on half way, a little box said ''failed to load configuration'' so i clicked ok and waited for the rest to load, which took ages, and now my CPU is staying on 100% my avast! thing popped up saying its been updated, and my CPU went down about 4% to 10% and so on, and then it worked it way back too 100% again! Is this caused by the virus i deleted? Because i had no problems with the computer whatsoever apart from it being slow. Also, scanned with SUPERanti-spyware and Spybot S&D Can someone help? My dad will go beserk if this aint sorted Thanks!

The new Abit uGuru drivers v.3.109 is not working for windows 7? Hello, my brother is having big problem now with Abit motherboard on Windows 7. Every time the computer is started, it sends out an error message saying, "Your power management system is missing a driver" and suggests the uGuru 3.1X. I haven't this issue under Vista SP2, XP SP3. abit motherboard making noise? It makes a siren sound continuously. I changed the power supply and replaced the cmos. Its been doing this whenever I changed cmos settings. For instance when I changed the battery and went to change the time and date. After it restarts it makes the siren sound. I pull the plug then restart the system, it works fine. Again I replaced the power supply changed the Cmos and cleaned out the tower of any dust and debris. Does this mean my system is dying?
I have an ABIT KG9 SLi motherboard, can I run crossfire dual video cards with this motherboard? I bought the Abit KN9 SLi motherboard, An AMD 64x2 4200+ AM2 processor, and an ATI X1300 pro crossfire graphics card, I found a great deal on these ATI X1300 pro cards, so i was going to buy another one. ABIT-IC7 motherboard, 478-socket? I have an ABIT-IC7 motherboard and love it. The only problem is, the north-bridge fan died and the north-bridge killed itself. I have an Abit kv8 pro motherboard and AMD Sempron 3300+ CPU that runs at about 47c at idle. What can I do? I have tried everything from updating bios to different fan configurations, but I get the same results. how do i overclock a abit ag8 motherboard cpu? I have a Abit ag8 model motherboard in my desktop with a intel pentium 4 processor operating @ 2.8 Ghz. also, it is a hyper threading technology. I want to overclock my desktop to atleast 3.0Ghz or a bit more but i never learned how to overclock before, but if somebody is willing to explain throughly then i'll be able to perform the steps because im pretty good with computer. its only overclocking i never done. I actually want to know if i could just set overclock directly in the bios or if i have to set the jumpers to actually make the speed higher. What does post code 50 on an Abit AN8 motherboard mean? I have an Abit AN8 motherboard-based system I've been running for 3 years now. I have had no hardware trouble at all. Recently, the power went off while it was raining. Upon restarting my computer, it hangs at the abit splash screen. I can't even hit Tab or Esc to enter bios or look at the POST screen. The motherboard LED display reads "50" when the machine hangs. Can anybody tell me what post code 50 means? Is there a list of post codes somewhere? Thanks!

instlling win xp pro hard drive is not recognized on abit ax8 motherboard 64bit processor? TRYED TO USE THE DRIVERS THAT CAME WITH MOTHERBOARD, PROBLEM IS THE DISK WONT LOAD? PULLED OUT MY OLD FLOPPY DRIVE, HOOKED THAT UP AND THAT ISN RECOGNIZED EITHER? SO I AM UNABLE TO LOAD THE DRIVERS TO GET WINDOWS TO SEE THE HARD DRIVE. Thanks guys but it wasnt recognizing the sata drive or the floppy. Just replaced it with ata and no problems. Thanks again for all the help.
Abit Motherboard with Nvidia onboard.? I have the above board and i want to use a pci express graphics card so that i can play better games, the problem is that when i put the graphics card in it is not detected by the bios and will not work. I have tried checking the bios and there is nothing in the bios to disable the onboard graphics. Is there anything i can try or could it just be the pci express card that is at fault. The board is an Abit NF-Ms2v and the graphics card im using is an inno3d geforce 8 series 8500 The fan spins up on the graphics card. I have tried to disable the Graphics on the MB but nothing. There is no option to disable it. I have not yettried to update the firmware as i dont want to break anything however i will try this. The bios is phoenix award bios and i have just flashed to version 14 from 12. I have returned the graphics card for now as i believed it to be faulty. I will continue to look in to this however as i want to upgrade the graphics.

Abit Ip35 PRO (Motherboard), how good is it? Well I've been building custom Pc's for about 2 years now and I usually built PC's with SLI-compatible boards. And when I built non-SLI PC's I usually used Gigabyte boards... So now I got a request for a non-SLI PC with good overclocking ability. What is Causing My Monitor To Flicker and Turn Off? I have a 19" CRT Monitor Built 10-97 that has just in the past month or two started to flicker. It is now to the point that it basically acts like it's turned off. I'll be browsing or something and the screen will go black for a second, then turn back on. I have an ABIT motherboard with onboard video and other than the "windows update" I've done nothing else. I've checked and elimintated all sources of interference and checked cables and can see nothing frayed or loose. I'm thinking a new monitor and video card will solve the issue. Power Supply replaced less than 1 yr ago.
abit is7, Nvidia 6600, just beeps, won't show on monitor? Having problems with a computer. The motherboard is ABIT IS7, it has an Nvidia 6600 AGP video card. When it powers on, it just beeps, no display at all. Nothing was messed with inside before the problem, tried different monitor, tried a different DVI adapter, and nothing. Nothing is burnt out on the video card, tried taking it out and putting it back in. All the cords are plugged in and not sure what is going on. Any suggestions would be great.

Abit NF7-S motherboard driver help? i think i may have accidentally deleted my audio driver for my abit nf7-s motherboard.(has integrated sound). i have tried to reinstall the drivers and nothing seems to work. i do not have any sound whatsoever on my computer right now. i ususally consider myself somewhat computer smart but this is just frustrating me. please help.
How come I get a blank screen when I try to install windows? I have a new hard drive. My system is more than capable for handling Windows vista. I attempted to install the operating system. It started to download. When I came back 30-45 minutes later the screen was black. Ever since then, when ever I turn my screen on the screen goes blank (occasional, "no signal" message). How do I get rid of the "memory test" when my computer is first rebooted? Motherboard: Abit UL-8 This memory test happens at the beginning of start-up (before Windows) I've tried to find it in my Bios & just upgraded the Bios. It seems I do not have the option to turn it off in my bios anywhere. It slows down rebooting the sytem. Any ideas?
