  1. just google it there a lots of them but if you were into computers you already knew that
  2. try ebay
  3. there are hundreds of online p.c parts delivery sites, if you start there im sure u will learn quickly which is the best and relaible supplier.
  4. Nigeria !!!!
  5. You can find refurbished computer parts by doing a search on Yahoo Search. Type in the keywords and type in your area and you'll come up with links to places closes to you. Another good place would be newegg.com, tigerdirect (which I don't like but their cheaper). If you are starting up a pc shop, you need to contact the manufacturers and they should provide you with a list of distributors.
  6. Here are the steps for success in opening a shop. 1. have a business plan. 2. make sure you have three months rent and utilties in the bank 3. build a clientel through service, and the sales will come! 4. If it is not reparable, just tell them, don't bury yourself in the job. 5. All the salesmen who will call offering you "Special Volume Discounts" on from their distributor will be profiting from you. Don't over stock. learn from the big guys, order for the build, ship overnight at the customer's expense... Who can't really wait 3 days? If servicing businesses, you should stock some common parts to get them serviced on the priority basis. 6. The showroom shelves are stocked with empty boxes, with a brick inside, or a piece of 2x4 wood... No shoplifting problems, when there is nothing in the box! Everything else is under lock and key. Set up live and active video cameras. Prosecute all shoplifters, post neat little signs that you do so. Make sure there are NO blind spots where stuff can be stolen and the perp is not on a large parabolic mirror, or on camera. Open at 10, close at 7, have your phone forwarded to a cellphone. Set a labor rate, like $75 per hour, and Road calls/service calls at $85... Here is my inventory: 3 hard drives, 80Gb IDE 1 hard drive, 160Gb IDE to fix the older stuff... 2 SATA hard drives of 80 to 250Gb. 2 DVD writers, such as Pioneer 111D dual layers. A small assortment of upgrade memory, like some 256Mb, 512Mb, and 1 Gb sticks. Some external drive enclosures, an assortment of popular cables, ethernet, SATA, USB, and converters... Don't go overboard on the number, as 1 or 2 of each is fine... Stock some mice, and keyboards. If you know of a 'two for one' deal at a weekend sale, sometimes, it can undercut the wholesale price you would pay... Many of the manufacturers sell wholesale over the Internet, through distributors. You should do the searching. Check out the prices at http://pricewatch.com and you should stock for the persons who need instant gratification, at prices that bring a profit to the store. Incorporate, and, have liability insurance. Anyway, good luck in the store!
