Can I get more money if I sell my computer wholesale, or part by part?

I'm looking to sell my old computer (just the tower) and maximize profit on it. It's a Dell computer, about four years old. It has a Pentium 4 2.19 Ghz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 27.9 GB hard drive, all in good condition. Is it worth more wholesale or if I sell it part by part? Also, how much is it worth?

1. When a PC gets past it's first birthday, or definitely by its second, you will get more money selling it part for part. For example, I stripped an old Pentium III two years ago and sold several parts for about $200. No way could I have gotten near that much for the whole thing. People are hungry at places like eBay for spare parts to repair old workstations or servers for cheap instead of investing hundreds for a replacement.
2. hard drives and memory are cheap now days sell it the way it is dell has a good resale value cant tell you a value depends on market also 27.9 is small for a hard drive you can get a new one for 20 bucks or so
3. sell it all together. Parts are cheaper buying one by one.
