How Do I tell if my VW Beetle needs an o2 Sensor??

My 2000 GLS 2.0L Beetle just had its check engine light come on. Hooked up to a computer it is throwing the code of P0411 (Might be PO411) Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow It this my Pre Catalytic o2 sensor gone bad. Is it expensive to fix? Can I do myself or my boyfriend? I am using gas like crazy. I just need to know what is it and if/how to fix it. PLEASE! Help Me Out! PLEASE HELP ME OUT! Gas isn't cheap to be going though so quickly and getting ready to move for college. YES MY TIMING BELT NAD SUCH HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE!

1. No doubt it is the O2 sensor ! Auto Zone has some manuals on line and or go into the store two find out about the special tools that you MAY need! or ask the relatives!
