vista on multiple computers?

so, if i only have one vista key, and i install it on 2 computers... what will happen? will i just get those kind of annoying WGA warnings and thats it? or does it completely lock out the OS or some shit like that. what i am saying is : IF I INSTALL VISTA ON 2 MACHINES WHAT WILL HAPPEN? i AM going with vista, so don't tell me not to... and i am only doing so because i get a company discount on computer parts if i use vista for some kind of ad campaign (don't ask, i don't get it either) so i figured i might as well get the most out of the free copy and install it on my computer as well as my sisters. i know with XP, if you install off the same cd key, all you get is a little notice that says you are invalid. does it do the same in vista?

  1. You're second vista copy will only work for a limited time. It you don't enter a new valid key after than, you'll be locked out.
  2. When you install the OS you have to activate it. When you do that it connects to the MS servers and registers your hardware and key. If you attempt to install the software with the same key on a second machine, it will connect to the server, see they key is in use on another computer, and refuse to activate. After 30 days the computer will go into reduced functionality mode - no desktop shortcuts, no start menu, all it will allow you to do is connect to the MS servers and buy a legal copy.
