Help. Anyone have any ideas about the Acer Orbicam?

Hey all. I purchased a notebook from Acer. It is the Acer Aspire 5570Z. Recently, I have been having trouble with my in built webcam. Apparently it installed and has an icon for 'Acer Orbicam', so I am assuming that it is indeed an Acer Orbicam webcam. Now, when I click on this icon, the normal window it has for capturing photos and video 'flashes'...as in it shows up and closes itself relatively quickly. If I try to have a webcam conversation on MSN Messenger, it says that I don't have a webcam installed or that it is busy and being used by another program. Also, sometimes when I start up my computer, it tells me that it has found an 'unknown USB device', so that may be part of the problem. Also, it stopped working after I tried to have a webcam conversation over msn. I clicked the webcam button it said that it was busy or that I didn't have a webcam. Does anyone have any ideas at all on how to fix this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and there is no difference, apart from the fact that the application opens, but the green light on the webcam doesn't go on. Any ideas at all?
