I spilled a sugary liquid on my notebooks keboard. The keys are sticky. How do I fix it?
It's an Acer Aspire 3680. I took off the small machine screws on the back, and the top case sort of could be cracked open. I didn't force it open further. Replacement keyboards are about 35 bucks and they have a ribbon connector. I figure it can't be that difficult to remove in order to clean it out with some electronic parts cleaner, but I can't figure out how to remove the keyboard.

- Two choices - clean it with washing up liquid and let it dry and hope for the best. 2. Figure out how to replace the keyboard - not easy.
- Removing the keyboard is painful to acer laptops and pretty much to any laptop.Use 70% alcohol on Q tips and clean as far as you can around the keys.
- take a real skinney paint brush and very careful clean around each keys and let it dry and try it. if that does not work buy a new keyboard.
