Problem opening pictures recorded on CDs, please help?

I own an Acer Aspire 1353LC notebook. After I record a CD with pictures I have taken with my digital camera and try to open it, although all the icons appear, only part of them can be displayed as thumbnails, the rest cannot and if I try to open them the computer gets jammed and I have to manually eject the disc and restart it. I would appreciate any help. Thanks. This happens with both Nero and NTI CD Maker, the answer is probably not to do anything else while burning as wparker suggested. I shall try that. 1. what program are you using to burn the files to the cd-rom, its sounds to me like a bad burned cd-rom, and needs to be redone. this can happen when your computer is doing more then just burning files to cd, while you still use the computer. the used read buffer drops out , causing the burn to happen right from the cpu , wich can hiccup if not able to handle all the information goin through the processor . so if your burning dont do anything else on the computer while its doing it ...
