2. LOL, yes this computer is fine for playing your game, I just recently dismantled my travelmate 4220 (the bigger better travelmate). This computer utilizes the intel graphics accelerator so it has problems with some games but if your into the Sims then I doubt the kind of games that would give you problems, you will ever buy or play. Windows XP Pro is probably the very best OS for games and software. A supermulti drive means that it burns all cd/dvd standards so yes it can burn cds.
3. yes, it can play Sims & definitely burn CD's. Windows XP definitely can support more games than Vista can.
