I have a broken laptop. I want to remove the hardrive and wipe the memory. What works best to do this?

Compaq EVO 2.0GHz Pentium 4 512MB/30GB DVD/CD-RW Notebook Computer. The laptop will not boot b/c of a bad power connection inside the case. I am parting out everthing but the hardrive.

1. We'll if u dunno how to do it then u dunno what ur doing so id recommend u send it to Compaq or a computer repair shop , the chances are like 88% your going to break something internally , so id highly encourage you to fork out 20-40$ and just pay the $
