Has anyone ever ordered a laptop from Gateway and had it take forever to arrive?
I'm going on half a month now. They keep telling me they don't have parts, but can't give me an ETA. Is this a large-scale and ongoing problem with Gateway? Interested in hearing from those who've ordered from Gateway, not those who will tell me Gateway sucks, and to order from another company - I have a specific reason for using Gateway. Thanks! I emailed them and they gave me an ETA of Feb 26th! Ugh!

- Yes... make a move by contacting them and complaining. IF the order is still taking an eternity, continue pressuring them until they crumble beneath your persistence! This is the only way you may be able to solve this matter. It's a laptop, after all.
- I remember ordering my desktop awhile back and it took about a month. Now keep in mind this isn't the only manufacturer that has this problem, because dell is even worse. What I would do is write down the model number of the laptop you want and go to your local best buy or retail store and try to see if they have it or compare other laptops and then buy one. this is coming more common as certain holidays and ordering increases.
