Where do I plug in the microphone on a Gateway computer?

I have Boston speakers and I plugged in the head phone part of the microphone in the back of the speakers but I can not find where to plug in the microphone, does anyone know where I can plug it in? I am using Microsoft Windows XP and Gateway harddrive with something that says Intel Inside sticker thing on the harddrive, I need to know where to put this in because I have to do something very important right now.

1. Look around for a pink color coded plug. That is your microphone input on most manufatored PC's
2. It's going to be a pink plug with a mic symbol by it. Most computers have it on the back, but some will have one on the front too. Hope that helps!
3. look on the back of the pc, its pink color coded.. most pc manufactures put it color coded.
