Motherboard for HP computer?

I have an HP Pavillion D4100Y computer and the pins on my motherboard for the cpu are bent. I called a store and they said that i should call HP and get their part since it has a better chance of working. When i called HP, first time they gave me a phone for a company that did not work. 2nd & 3rd time they gave me a legit company but bad item numbers. And then that company said that they no longer have the part. So HP does not have it and the company they suggested does not have it. Can anyone find me a dealer that has the motherboard for the D4100Y? Will other motherboards work?

1. I doubt other motherboards will work. You're best bet is to get the info off the board, (model number, revision number, etc), and do a search online, (ebay or something similar). You'll probably find someone with a used board for sale; and you can determine if the cost is worth the purchase. The only other option is trying to see if anyone is available to straighten the pins; though doubtful...
