I have NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE (GeForce 7500 LE) Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Build Service Pack 22600) 2.0 GB 2.80 GHz Performance Rated at 5.04 GHz 2 processors

  1. DDR3 memory is a waste of time at the moment, latency is too high. both those MBs wont run it. Everything else looks good. I'd Reccomend a p35 mb though. its far better than the NVidia chipsets and now that ATIs 4000 series are so good SLI shouldnt be a problem.
  2. I would go with the OCZ ram. RAIDMAX psu. ASUS motherboard. and you need dvd drive a hard drive and operating system and if u want a "powerfull gaming computer" get a NVIDIA9600Gt
  3. the intel e8400 processor is good.. but it's a dual core, it doesn't have two processors. The motherboard is okay I'd get something different. Integrated audio on most comps would be enough you don't need to spend 120 $. 4 gb of ram is the max you can get with a 32 bit os and it should be more than enough you don't need another two. And on the money you saved just get a much better video card which is important for games especially. Like a Nvidia 9800gtx..the psu is a bit of an overkill..I'd do a bit more research before you buy anything
  4. Some suggestions: Skip the sound card until you see what your motherboard's on-board sound is like. You can always buy one later if you want. Motherboard: the Abit IP35 Pro XE is a good board (well, the IP35 Pro is a good board, and the XE shouldn't be much different). As other possible choice: look at the Asus P5Q-E. Get a board that takes DDR2 memory. The extra money spent on DDR3 would be best spent someplace else. Power supply: If you're just going to have a one-graphics card system (no SLI or Crossfire), and no serious overclocking, get a Corsair 550vx. Or a 650tx or 750tx if you want extra room. Or, a PC Power & Cooling 610w or 750w PSU. Or a Seasonic S12 or M12 model in the capacity you want. All of those would probably be better than the Raidmax (this is based on the generally poor reputation that Raidmax PSUs have). The Zalman is probably good, but seems overpriced. Graphics card: Either spend $150 on a 512MB 8800gt, $195 on a Radeon 4850 or $300 on a Radeon 4870.
