Doe GAteway laptops have a problem with batteries overheating?

The left side and bottom of laptop get extremely warm. I know Dell laptops had this problem. Does anyone know if Gateways do too?

1. all the laptops had the problem not just GAteway DELL laptops blow up
2. i have had a gateway for 2 years and havent had a problem with the battery at all. infact..i love my gateway..
3. I don't know the answer, but I'm putting this on my watch list. I have a Gateway laptop too...and it does feel hot on on the right side of the touch-pad all the time. Until the fan comes on...hope you get answers.
4. all laptops get very warm around the psu area. make sure the computer gets good ventalation. u should be fine.
