Do all gateway chargers work with all gateway laptops?

Im goin to buy one off ebay and i just would like to know if this would work for me Also is there a way i can fix my old charger that i think was messed up in a storm. but i really dont know it just stopped working

1. Most likely, it should. Because almost every laptop should have a small whole for where you plug in a charger.
2. Not always. You will want to make sure the plug is the same shape as the power connector on your laptop. **We have two different HP laptops bought about 3 years apart and the power cords are not interchangeable. As for fixing the old one. If it doesn't charge the battery or work in the same outlet (wall) as your other one it is dead and unless you are an electrician I would not suggest trying to fix it.
