Laptop Recoomendation XPS or what?

I want to buy a laptop and after reviewing some of them my best option is a DELL XPS 2.6Ghz/ 3 GB Ram/ 256 Gforce. I went thru Sony, HP, Gateway and IBM and this one offers me the best price for the best money (around 2,000 bux) .. Does anyone know of another good brand with good features? Please any options are accepted.
