Is it best to purchase an all in one printer with LightScribe or purchase a notebook with LightScribe?

I have a dilemma on whether to purchase a all in one printer with LightScribe or to purchase a notebook with LightScribe. If I purchase the notebook with LightScribe will it only let me burn text or will it let me burn images as well. This is the part that is really bothering me. Thanks

  1. It would be best to just buy the notebook. The whole point of LightScribe is so you don't need a printer. It is built in to the CD/DVD Burner. So, when you finish burning you just flip over the LightScribe CD/DVD and burn the label with the included software
  2. with the right software LightScribe can write and image to the disc on a compatible notebook drive Though I would use printable cds/dvds and a compatible printer . Its quicker ,cheaper and the end result is better
  3. The notebook with LightScribe makes more sense because it eliminates having to use a printer altogether, unless of course you are printing or scanning images. Also, LightScribe included on a printer could be up to $50-$100 added onto the original price, whereas the hardware built into the laptop most likely will not cost anything extra.
