- No such thing as a cpu stand! If you're talking about the fan/heatsink just buy one that matches the type of cpu you have. Make sure you get one that either snaps in or is screwed in thru front of motherboard and not the type that you have to take the board out and put a mounting bracket on the back of the board.
- Call Dell. http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dellcare/en/contact_us_options?~ck=ln&~tab=2&c=us&l=en&lnki=0&s=gen
- Slot type If your CPU is of a slot type and not a socket type, you could use epoxy to secure the mounting bracket. But don't forget to remove the CPU first. Socket type: If it's the CPU fan mounting clip tab thats broken off and the fan wont mount. You could use cotton kite string to secure your fan by loosening up a few motherboard mounting screws and secure the fan with string that way. Don't forget to tighten the screws to hold the string in place. d;o) Avatarxz
- I think you don't really mean the CPU stand, that's a part on the motherboard. But according to the pictures of the PC it has a plastic base to stand it upright more securely. For sure, Dell will help you. Customer retention is very important for this competitive market! So don't feel shy and call them!
- This is a CPU, it fits in the palm of your hand. http://www.pcper.com/images/reviews/425/single_top.jpg But... What the hell is a CPU stand?
