Gateway Parts

I have an old computer that has a fauly motherboard. I want savage it for parts.?

I have an old dell computer that I think has a faulty motherboard. I dont want to bother fixing it. I kinda want to you its parts for something fun and cool. If not, my other option is putting fireworks inside. >:)

  1. don't put fireworks in it put fireworks in the plastic encloshure but you can also salvage the memory the hard drive and the cd reader people will buy those 4 a resonable price but b4 u sell the hard drive clear it if u have private stuff
  2. If you buy another computer you can probably upgrade it with your old parts(RAM, cd, add a second HD for more space) just don't do what my friend did and throw a laptop out of a 5 story building and destroy all the parts
  3. unless it connects the motherboard by a cable anything you have in that box is going to not be worth the effort...
  4. keep the hard drive, if you can, even small hard drives have value plus having an extra hard drive around is great for some extra storage I have a closet full of old hard drives I've salvaged from a few old computers that I used to have. They come in handy when I got a lot of music, pictures, programs, and stuff and need a place to put them plus if your new computer's hard drive dies, you have a spare
