Is Gateway Computers having problems with order fulfillment?

My new computer has been delayed, then delayed, then delayed again.

1. first i have to say i am quite opionated about some equipment. gateway has been losing market share like they're shoveling it out the door. my prejudice says they have always had order fulfillment problems of the best value. sorry you bought one, i suggest you just cancel the order
2. My order was also delayed for a few weeks. I think my delay was due to ordering office 2007 to be preinstalled. There website had a notice that if you ordered the software it would delay production. I have received the pc now and love it. I ordered the FX overclocked, the tower is larger than I expected but man it zooms. This is my 4th gatway and I've never been disapointed.
3. Take this as a sign....cancel the order. I bought a computer from them in August 06 and it didn't even work out of the box. I have had nothing but problems with the machine since. If you do get it make sure you have the extended warranty. Mine is currently a $2000 paperweight
