- do u have the operating disc, try running it
- If you're running Windows XP or Vista, the easiest place to start is by just running Windows Update. It may download drivers for your missing drivers. If not, go to gateway.com and check their support site. They should have drivers for all of the hardware that they sell. If it's a 3rd party NIC and modem, you'll have to find out who made them and go to their support web site.
- Well Updating will not do any good, So what you do is go to www.gateway.com, go to drivers and downloads in the middle of the page, it will ask for your serial number, it will be labled S/N on your system so find it and put it in, it will ask you to choose your Operating system type, after that it will list all your downloads for your specific system, Modem driver will be under the modems section and network controller will be under network, also if the system is newer, you might wanna check this, you have a gateway recovery center on your conputer with all your drivers listed, if its vista you wanna click start, in the start search box at the bottom type in Rec and wait a second for Gateway Recovery center to pop up, click it, go to hardware, then click device driver recovery, and choose communications, and your drivers will be listed here to install
