- if you are selling your own computer read below ★★ SELLING YOUR COMPUTER ★★ ◙ I hope you have thought this out carefully. Identity theives just love people that sell, donate, or give away their computers. ◙ Did you know that if you have used your bank account numbers, credit card numbers, home address, phone numbers, etc. on this computer that they are still there. Even if you have deleted them they are still there. Even if you reformat the hard drive they are still there. ◙ The only way to leave that hard drive in that computer and be certain that all your personal data is gone is to use a DOD (Department Of Defense) Wipe application to place zeros all over your hard drive. The app will do this up to 7 times to make certain all of the data has been overwritten by zeros. ◙ After running a dod wipe even people that make a living in the data recovery industry won't be able to recover your data. It will be gone forever. ◙ Below is a site where you can get a wipe program. They also show you how to reinstall Windows after wiping the hard drive. Some people don't bother with reinstalling Windows. They let the new owners do that. ☞ http://www.whitecanyon.com/wipe-your-hard-drive-reinstall-windows.php ◙ Some copy machines have hard drives in them too.
- To improve their sales, and try to gain prestige at a low price. Many people complains about Vaio which an expensive computer, but has a high sale% on the market. Like they used to say many years ago It's a Sony not baloney.....Yes!! but they were talking about the Triniton TV, not computers
