What Is the Best Laptop I can Buy for Games, Music, Movies, and College?

I would Like to get a nice computer for college around $3000, but less if possible. Ive asked many people but gotten different anwers. DELL? HP? SONY? TOSHIBA? GATEWAY? MAC? ALIENWARE? What parts should i get for the computer? ThankYou

dell xps, inspiron or vostro. if you want to game, the minimum video card you need is an 8600M GT. Must be GT otherwise you are wasting your time.
Go to ibuypower.com and check out custom building your own computer. Its by far the best deal for your money and it exactly what you want. I did the research and my computer, which i bought for 1300, was 1600 or more any where else and it has a good enough graphic card to play any game. Name brand stores like dell and hp either have "intergrated graphics" or have bottom of the barrel graphic cards. If you don't want to take that route and want a name brand go with Alienware. Mac arn't bad but they arn't for gamers.
dell and alienware have good gaming laptops, but ibuypower's selection is limited, and the other brands dont have gaming notebooks. you could also get one from vigorgaming, btu you best bet albeit an expensive one, would an alienware m17x with an 8800m GTX (even better, two of em) or a dell xps m1730 with similar specs.
