What is the biggest harddrive I can safely install in a Gateway Solo 1450 notebook?

Gateway says I can only use 20 or 30 gig harddrive in a Gateway Solo 1450 notebook but other people tell me they use 60 to 100 gig with no problems. Who do I believe?

1. In my opinion, I would go with what the gateway rep is suggesting. There are universal hard drives but you have to remember that the solo series is kinda old and the universal might not work in it. If you want to be sure, just call gateway again and speak with a different rep just to confirm. They have access to parts databases that the public might not have access to.
