The fan on my Gateway Solo laptop computer is making a real racket. How much will it cost to replace?

I'd prefer to pay someone else to put it in for me.

1. Hi Rick, This is Sandy, working as a Techcical Support Specialist. I will be glad to share the information with you. From your question I understand that the Laptop Fan is Creating Noise. If that is the Case, it does not mean that you have to purchase a new Fan. The Fan inside the Laptop may be get stucking. I would suggest you to clean the Loptop Fan and then check. If it still creates the noise then you need to replace it. I would have definitely provided the service manual link to open the Laptop and clean the Fan if you have provided the Laptop Model number.
