Will Windows XP run on a Gateway Solo 1100B?

I am buying a Gateway Solo 1100B and I am pretty sure they were built for windows 98. How would XP run on them? Would it run good if I bought a newed hard drive, cpu, and memory? Im just not sure if its the motherboard that would not support new stuff? Thanks!

1. well......XP needs these things to run. 233MHz Pentium 2 processor (400MHz reccomended) 64MB of RAM (200 MB reccomended) 1.5GB or hard drive (5GB reccomended) the first ones are what it DOES need, i reccomended the ones it really needs, as i have ran XP on many pc's. hope this helps
