gateway solo model 2500 laptop shutting down automatically after 5 minutes, WHY? Neen Help.... Thanks ...

1. either the power options are set to that, or it could be overheating ..
2. Sounds like it is overheating Get yourself some canned air. Blow out the heat vents on the laptop and any fans that it may have. Most likely there is a fair amount of dust built up.
