I have a used Gateway Solo Laptop using Windows 98. I need to know what printer would be compatible with this

1. All printers should be compatible (or backwards compatible) with your computer. They will most likely come with a driver disk which is all you need.
2. i don;t think any printer would be. get yourself a new computer we are in 2008!!!!!
