- you should have at least to memory slots, memory comes in 256mb,512mb,1gig sticks To get to 512mb add 1 stick of 256mb Just open the case pop it in that easy. Of course the pc is powered down.
- You can't add 200 MB to what you have right now. Memory usually comes in increments of 512 MB. It's not that easy, either. I would have to know exactly what type of computer you have, and maybe a serial number or some information about what motherboard is inside of it. Only then I can tell you what memory to buy and how much you can put in or how much you can extend your current memory by. Please tell us exactly what computer it is.
- Well, it would be wise to chose the 512 mb upgrade. if you can, add a new stick of RAM. if you stay at 256mb ( the only computers i see that do that are the old dell peices of crap that are only 40 gb HDD with 256 mb of RAM ) go to as much RAM as possible for better speeds.
