Gateway Parts - what's the part of the computer where you plug in the A/C adapter to charge your notebook's battery called?

what's the part of the computer where you plug in the A/C adapter to charge your notebook's battery called?

I plug mine into a USB port.
I'm not sure but i believe it is called the power jack.
The technical term for it is the "Power Supply", but in the laptop world that has caused some confusion (i.e. your "power is being supplied by either a battery or an AC wall outlet"... see what I mean). That being said, most folks just call it the power supply jack.
its called the power port if im not mistaken
