Why can't I install the print server on my notebook computer?

As part of the install process, you click on "Start." Then you click on "Printers and Faxes." But "Printers and Faxes" does not appear on the screen. Therefore, I cannot continue the process of installation. I have Windows XP home edition. I have a Lexmark "all in one" printer. Both my laptop and printer worked fine together before I installed the wireless router. I can still use the printer but have to connect it back to my laptop to use it. This defeats the purpose of the new wireless router with built in print server. Can anybody help me? I am not very computer savy but can follow directions if they are not too complicated. Thank you for any help you can give me.

1. You can go to the control panel to get to your "Printers and Faxes" area..
2. Try to repair it. try: 1:Read this and do it http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324757 If this not work try Click Start Run, write cmd.exe inside and hit Enter. This will open Command prompt :) After that: write sfc /scannow This will check windows files and repair corrupted ones Best Luck
