I'm a poor student in Southern province of Sri Lanka. I think to do my higher education in Computer science. I bought a used PC last month. But according to my Degree status, I must have a mobile computer to do my works in the IT Institute. I't is not a easy thing to me. My parents don't have such a money to buy it. All computer parts are too expensive in our country. But I think, a person live in any other developed country may help me. 1. there are computers on almost every campus in the united states so i suggest planning on spending a lot of time there. and maybe advertise on buliten bords that your looking to buy a cheap computer able to support your needs. you can probably find someone who will sell you one for around $175.00
2. I'm sorry to say there are so many con-merchants and scam artists on the web theses days that no-one is likely to believe you unless they meet you face to face. I think you should contact the IT Institute and explain to them your problem .. I'm sure they have funds (and maybe even some laptops you can borrow)
