does gateway sell cheap laptops?

does gateway sell laptops that can break easily? and is gateway support good? I'm changing from HP to gateway and was wondering.

1. Gateway is more expensive, you can try getting them off ebay but the cheapest laptop they have is $648 I am getting a dell inspiron 1525 it is a good laptop, especially dells, but i would give dell 5/5 and gateway 4.9/5 its only $499 and you can get it off dell.com and add stuff or at bestbuy.
