Have gateway solo powered up than shut it up won't power back up?

When I shut it up was still on the internet I open it back up it stays blank.

1. If the little light stays on, press the Power button for 5-6 seconds. If a no go, press the Reset button once. If still the machine does not respond, disconnect from mains, open up your box, remove your memory, reconnect, and let it beep a coupla times. Disconnect, put your memory back on and Power up.
