I have a gateway solo laptop, when I go into sleep mode and screen goes dead it sometimes doesn't return?

The computer light comes on and seems to reboot but screen sometimes dones't light up.

1. my hp did the same thing then i sent it in for repair got it back in one day then 3 days later worse than before now they say they cant fix till the end of month so probably the same type of problem
2. Your BIOS Power Management settings could need to be adjusted. In your case, the Operating System is trying to tell your hardware to return from sleep mode, however your hardware is not responding. Check to make sure either Advanced Power Management or ACPI is installed and working and does not have any conflicts showing in Device Manager.
