Gateway Parts

Overall are Gateway laptops good?

I just purchased a m1634u the other day and I am having mixed emotions about it. Any comments are welcomed.

1. I have a gateway laptop that I have been using for about 4 years now and had no problem with it. I have noticed with gateway in general if you customize it a bit before you buy it you have less problems with them. Must be something about their "generic set up" on basic models.
2. I've had my Gateway laptop for a few months and I've loved it so far. :-) It took me a while to get used to Windows Vista, since I hadn't had it previously, but I don't mind that anymore.
3. I love my Gateway FX. I had the people at Best-Buy set it up. It is used for gaming mostly and I've never had a problem with it yet. I've had it less than a year, but have spent many hours on it. Hope this help you.
