HP Recovery Disks To Full Install?

I have HP recovery disks is there any way for me to use them as full install disks(Use on any computer). I am building my own computer using hp parts so it's not piracy but I am not using the HP tattoo.

1. yes , but you have to use an hp product key when activating and dont use the same one too much or you will have to call in to activate it , and that is a pain
2. I don't know about HP, but my Dell recovery disk works only on Dell. Or maybe on certain hardware. Also, there is a limited number of times that XP (it is XP?) can be activated on different hardware, even if it is on the same PC. Once that number is exceeded, it is the same as a pirated copy (not that it is illegal, it just doesn't validate).
