2. While the specs of this computer sound very good, I personally would not go with a compaq as these computers aren't necessarily quality computers. I recommend HP (not the compaq sub manufacturer), the only computer me or my family has had that hasn't caused any computer related problems. That being said, these specs are more than enough for your purpose.

4. yeah for what your doing that may be too good you could save money because you don't need that much resources and buy a cheaper laptop or perhaps one that has lower specs and a bigger screen that's always nice to have all your msn windows open on a big screen.
5. You might consider the CQ50 being advertised by Best Buy for this week--it is selling for 449.00. The specs are pretty similar, although it has 50 G less hard drive.
