Gateway Parts - I scooted, and moved my laptop. I suddenly lost volume in it. It's a Gateway. Anybody know what I can do?

I scooted, and moved my laptop. I suddenly lost volume in it. It's a Gateway. Anybody know what I can do?

I don't know if I need to hit a particulare button or what to get volume back. It's a Gateway T-series laptop.

Go to settings/control panel/system/device manager and delete the sound device and shut down. Reboot and you should get the message "new device found" see if windows can install it from the windows files. If it is not there you will have to download the driver and install it manually.
