HELP!!! Gateway MT6831 AC Adapter?

I have a Gateway MT6831 laptop computer. The other day my charger went out. And gateway doesn't sell replacement parts. They just sell overpriced items. Does anyone know a good safe site, where i can find a replacement charger that isn't that expensive. $50+ not including shipping is expensive. Please I really need this. Thanks for you help.
