Gateway Parts

Is there any possible way you can play Fallout 3 on a laptop with an Intel video card?

I'm pretty sure I've got every other needed spec for the game... But my video card doesn't pass the test. Is there any way I can modify my computer (without buying anything - I'd rather just get the 360 game if that'd be the case) to play the game? My computer is a Gateway M-6750... that means: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Windows Vista Home Premium 3GB DDR2 Memory 250GB Hard Drive Mobile Intel GM965 Express Graphics Card Other info can be found at: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/gateway-m-6750-core/4507-3121_7-32865657.html?tag=mncol;psum I should clarify: I have the game and with, as far as I can tell, the lowest resolutions and whatnot, it does not work on said laptop. When I attempt to start a game, it malfunctions and stops. I'd just like to know if I could modify anything to play the game on the Gateway.

  1. you could but it might be a bit slow
  2. dont even think about it man, fallout 3 requires shader model 4.0 which is only available on mid to high end gpus, intel extreme graphics only support open gl and shader model 2.0 which means that you wouldnt even be able load the game up,you can waste the $50 bucks if you want but im telling you it wont work and im %110 positive
