Do gateways make good computers?

1. saying this or that computer is better then the other is almost at the point of saying a ford is better then dodge gateways are a OK machine I have a gateway pc thats well over 5 years old that has never given me a day of trouble , true it's not my primary machine but it works fine
2. If you can get that laptop, it would be killer. I would get that gateway over any Mac. Don't listen to anyone else that says MACs are better. This thing has 4gb of ram=nice and fast for vista. 320gb of HD=lots of space for your movies and pictures. Lots of video ram and nice video card=nice movie playback. Fast processor. Built in webcam. HD Audio. I would get this my friend. It is very nice.
