I already have an up to date PC with Windows XP but I recently got a cheap laptop (Gateway Solo).?

My HP Desk Jet printer is not compatible with the laptop. So I need a printer that is compatible with the laptop also.

1. If you have XP on the laptop, make sure to get all the Windows updates and get the right driver for the printer.
2. Visit your printers web site, and download the drivers that match your particular printer, install them on your laptop, and you should be all set.
3. if you're networked you may be able to share the printer from the xp box.
