i need to know a cheap way to get the dc jack on my gateway laptop fixed..any ideas? the model is mx6426?

i need it to be done for cheap. and locally in hampton Virginia or newport news Virginia. all help would be appreciated.

1. read the book about how to fix it, and fix it your self, the most cheapest way.
2. Break it up some more then send it to yourself in the mail and get insurance on it for like 1500 or 2000 bucks and when it gets back to you complain about it. easy huh.
