HP or gateway laptops?

or others like toshiba and sony and dells may be better when you are in the cheaper range, but around 800 will get u a phenomenal gateway or hp. so no macs and no dells. which one is the best?

2. if you're thinking of buying a laptop you should check out this site first. they give you a sony vaio laptop for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.

5. Hp wins. Gateways tend to be more pricey for less stuff. The Quality of a gateways havent been the best over the years. To have a better understanding of what I mean, find an HP you like and a Gateway you think you may like and compare the 2. You will find that the Gateway have some programs on there you wont use while the HP will have some hardware that you will need and you will use. Prime example is that Hp will have more Hard Drive space and more Memory. These two things are key, especially if you are playing pc games, online games, downloading music, for watching videos or movies, and if you are surfing the net while typing a paper and doing other things.
6. Hp is a lot better
7. HP. Gateway and Acer are not up to standards. I wanted both and my ad's like NO! they suck!
