Does anyone have Refurbished Gateway mt6457 notebook? how does it work?

I plan to buy a low price laptop. unfortunately as I'm living in Iran there is not much choice. a plenty of very high price laptops and just some refurbished low price gateways. so i want to gather some information about both Gateway and Refurbished laptops. can somebody help me to decide to buy or not this refurbished Gateway mt6457 laptop? if someone have one of these please tells me if it is valuable for the price and how does it do the job? it is about 750$ that is not cheap but it is almost the cheapest laptop in this class in Iran. thanks a lot.

1. I repaired Gateway notebooks for three years at the main site that fixes almost all Gateway notebooks. That was one of our main models before I left. I also worked with the people that refurbished them. Trust me, these are not good computers. I'd say at least 10% of the refurbished units return for repair at least 1-2 times within their first 90 days and about 3-4 times in the notebooks entire lifespan. The $750 price tag is a little over priced for that notebook. Someone is trying to make a hefty profit off of it. Frankly, I wouldn't buy a Gateway new, much less refurbished. That's my two cents.
