Need a good gaming laptop for cheap, help?!?

I was looking at alienware computers but they don't look like they are good bang for the buck unless you have like $5,00 to blow on them, which i don't. Is this good? and if not can you recommend another? $5,000 i meant for the alienware

1. You can get a decent gaming laptop off the ebay for $700 - $1,500
2. Let me know if you find it. I have been looking for ages. I had a Gateway and the graphics card died in it after a year. Now I have a Toshiba which plays some games but not all. But at least it works. They have some Toshiba at BestBuy and they are cheap and have dedicated graphics card. Like ATI, etc. You can find one there for about $579 US. Whether or not it works will depend on the games you want to play of course.
3. Check you local computer shops. Your local nerds may be able to build you a sweet machine for a great price.

I would recomend a Dell laptop....I have had many laptops in my day and without a doubt dell systems are the best and their technical support is flawless...if ur going for gaming then these are the good ones and theyre cheaper than ur gateway too http://www.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/xpsnb?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs I would highly recomend the xps13 ...u want a laptop to be powerful yet portable and 13 inches is pretty small....plus it looks amaaaaazing!!!...this is the link for the dell xps13 http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/laptop-studio-xps-13?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs scroll down...the most powerful one is the furthest to the right....but then again u can adjust every part of the system to ur liking depending on ur budget....hope that helps...oh btw if ur into movies then u can upgrade the xps 13 and put in a blue ray drive...not many laptops can do that
5. Man. I love gaming laptops. I could tell you so many different laptops man. Here. You can buy one on eBay for 1200.00 or so. It's ridiculous in terms of speed and graphics. However, if you want to buy it new, I would look at the same exact model you are looking at (p172x). The specifications are screaming on it. I'd recommend it. Thanks.
